Meet PIPER

Age: Apprx. 2 years old
Female, Microchipped, Spayed and fully vaccinated.
Color/Fur: White with black spots/markings
Breed: Pitbull mix
Weight: 50-60 lbs

PIPER came to us from Oakland Animal Shelter. She was owner surrendered to them, stating she had been involved in an altercation with another dog outside her home. The story is that she broke out of her backyard, being protective of her puppies and attacked a person or dog that was walking past her home. OAS does not totally believe this story because there was no report filed or pictures taken against PIPER. OAS could not adopt her out because of this accusation and therefore she needed to go to rescue. And now shes hanging with us until her forever family shows up.

Since PIPER has been in our care, she has been an extremely easy dog to take care of. She is very quiet and crate trained. She is not reactive to the other dogs in our care and handles hanging out with them very well. There are plenty of opportunities outside of her crate to interact with our other dogs negativiely and we have yet to see an adverse reaction to any dogs or people. She can be a bit wild and doing zoomies outside but inside she likes to snuggle. She is very quiet and gentle. PIPER has been spayed, is fully vaccinated and patiently waiting for her forever home.
